Student Services:

Students will be introduced to the Student Services department during orientation week. The team will give students an overview of the campus and its many services.

Through Student Services, students can access:

  • Workshops and Seminars
  • Student Life and Student Committee Events, such as holiday parties, end of term socials, movie nights, and much more.

Career Services

The Career Services department aims to facilitate engagement among students and alumni. Thanks to a partnership, Career Services will put students in touch with some of the best employers in Vancouver.

Career Services work with students to provide career support through online career services programs. Students and alumni can access the program whenever they want to receive career updates that are relevant to positions they are interested in.

Employability

Academica Group has been surveying our MBA graduates 6 months after graduation (which will continue in 2020).

According to the January 2020 data from the graduates that participated in the study:

  • 100% Graduate Employment within 6 Months
  • 88% have secured employment within 3 months of graduation
  • 67% have secured employment within a month of graduation

Our Campus

UCW has two campuses in downtown Vancouver: 626 West Pender St. in the historic London Building and Vancouver House (opening July 2020).

Our campus at 626 Pender Street is located just steps away from public transportation, including the Waterfront SkyTrain Station, buses and the SeaBus terminal. The vibrant and lively neighbourhood is full of restaurants, entertainment, shopping centres and gyms.

Our new campus, Vancouver House, opening July 2020, is located in a high-profile development and is part of a project by renowned architect, Bjarke Ingels of BIG. The campus will have more than 90,000 sq. ft. in the iconic Vancouver House Development and will be able to accommodate more than 3,400 students.

Many of the world’s largest corporations are based within walking distance of our downtown campus, providing students with unparalleled access to a network of prospective employers.

Vancouver has also been named the third most liveable city in the world by The Economist and this is evident as you stroll through the beautiful, bustling city.
