A Medical Office Administrator (MOA) is also often called a Medical Secretary or Medical Receptionist, and performs various administrative and clinical duties. They may schedule and confirm appointments, prepare medical documents, charts and requisition forms, maintain confidential medical records, perform or set up for minor medical procedures such as taking blood pressure or measuring height and weight.

The Medical Office Admin program provides an overview of medical office practices, focusing on developing medical office assistant skills.  Courses include learning medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, common office software applications, and medical office scheduling and billing software.

The Medical Office Administrator training program is available at the Toronto campus and the Medical Office Administration training is available at the Ottawa campus.

Program and internship length may vary by campus.
