TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are awarded to students in their last year of high school or CEGEP (in Quebec) who have demonstrated leadership in improving their community.
If you are interested in working in a medical office environment, you will find career opportunities through training at CDI College’s Medical Office Administration diploma program.
You will begin with classes in information processing, and learning standard business office programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Technical skills in medical terminology, human anatomy, and medical machine transcription are taught in later phases of the MOA program. You will also learn business writing, and professional communication skills.
You also will be required to complete a mandatory practicum in order to graduate, which allows you to apply your education in real-world scenarios.
