Massage Therapy

B e a part of the growing health and wellness industry by enrolling in CDI College’s Massage Therapy diploma program.  Professional massage therapists are valued health care workers who specialize in recovery, relaxation, and other wellness treatments.  This diploma program begins with fundamental skills in massage therapy, hydrotherapy, remedial exercise, palpation and assessment. Different types of massage treatments are examined so that students experience a wide variety of possible specialization areas.

Massage Therapy Program Focus

Medical science topics including anatomy, physiology, and pathology are required courses.  In addition, students will learn about industry ethics and professional communications. A mandatory clinic internship at the end of the program allows students to practice their massage therapy under the supervision of a registered massage therapist.

BC - Registered Massage Therapy Program

• Upon graduation from CDI’s Registered Massage Therapy program in BC, you’ll have all the required competencies listed in the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) Occupational Competency Profile, preparing you to successfully write the CMTCB registration exams.

Ontario - Massage Therapy

• Graduates of the Massage Therapy program in Ontario are encouraged to register with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and are also eligible to sit the CMTO's certification examination – Multiple Choice Questionnaire (MCQ) and Objectively Structured Clinical Evaluation (OSCE) – to obtain registration certification and become a registered massage therapist.
