International Trade and Business Management

Program Information 

Sprott Shaw College has partnered with FITT to offer the FITTskills (Forum for International Trade Training) program that will give you the industry skills as well as business skills to give you a competitive advantage in this area. 

FITTskills is a highly practical, hands-on series of courses that focus on the fundamental aspects of international business. Upon successful completion, students can elect to write an exam administered by the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) in pursuit of an additional FITT Diploma in International Trade, which fulfills the educational requirement of the CITP designation.

Students in Sprott Shaw’s intensive combined program will:

• Learn Bookkeeping fundamentals and accounting principles
• Learn to use most modules of Sage 50 to record business transactions
• Learn the fundamentals of international trade
• Understand the global supply chain management process
• Learn about trade finance risk analysis and management
