And, with the help of a Health Care Aide program, you could be ready for employment in a few short months.
In a matter of months, you’ll learn the essentials you need to excel in a career as a caregiver. You’ll study human development throughout the lifespan, interpersonal communication, chronic conditions, fundamentals of anatomy and medical terminology.
You’ll learn about the major fields health care aides work in, including home support, palliative care, special needs and more. CPR, First Aid, food handling, data collection, reporting and conflict management are also covered.
With training that includes a clinical placement to give you true, hands-on experience, you’ll prepare for jobs like nursing aide, long-term care aide, home healthcare worker and more.
