LaSalle College Vancouver provides scholarships for Canadian high school students, indigenous students, and mature learners enrolled in their innovative full-time program
An Ed.S. School Psychology degree provides the education and tools a graduate needs to fill the increasingly varied roles of the modern day school psychologist. Through this program, students will be trained to become well-rounded, versatile, and knowledgeable Education Specialists (Ed.S.) for a variety of educational settings.
School psychologists’ primary responsibilities are to assist students, teachers, administrators, and parents in dealing with a variety of mental challenges and situational problems. A specialist will help individuals overcome obstacles to learning and personal development which may include, but are not limited to, family disruptions, mental health issues, disabilities, and inadequate exposure to instruction due to medical issues, poor attendance, etc., as well as academic difficulties.
Through the Ed.D. Psychology program, graduates will be ready to pursue and enter the psychology field upon completion of all necessary exams and licensing requirements.
