Construction Electrician – Level 3 Accelerated Certificate Program Information

The ITA-BC approved Construction Electrician modular program provides opportunities for Electrical Apprentice’s to gain employable skills, and provides BC’s employers with a highly trained and experienced workforce.

The Construction Electrician - Level 3 module, is the third year theoretical and hands-on training component of the four-year program. Successful completion of the certificate requirements will earn students certification as a fourth year apprentice.

Students will learn three phase AC theory, digital electronics, AC/DC motor theory and the Canadian Electrical Code.

Construction Electrician Level 3 Courses Include:

  • Analyze Three Phase AC Circuits
  • Electronic Circuits – Part 3
  • Apply the Canadian Electrical Code
  • Low Voltage Distribution Systems
  • Three Phase Transformers
  • DC Motors and Generators
  • AC Motors and Alternators
  • Magnetic Motor Controls – Part 3
  • Electronic Motor Controls
