What is Criminal Justice?
Criminal justice is sometimes used interchangeably with criminology, and even though they are related, there is a difference. If you are thinking of a career in either, you must distinguish between the two.
While criminology is the study of crime, Criminal Justice is the systems that are put into place to detain, prosecute and punish those who commit a crime.
Students who study criminal justice, learn about the origins of criminal behavior, crime lab technology, corrections and the probation and parole systems.
Depending on the career you wish to pursue, a diploma or degree may be the minimum education required.
