Business Administration Principles

The Business Administration Principles program is designed to provide students with an introduction to the fundamentals of business operations.  This program is suited to those would who like to upgrade their office and business skills.

Principles of Business Administration Program Information 

Students will build a solid foundation in:

• Expertly using standard office software such as MSOffice including Word, Excel and Access
• Accounting/Bookkeeping principles including understanding the complete accounting cycle (GL, A/P, A/R, Payroll, Year End)
• Using SAGE 50 (Simple) Accounting to make entries and produce financial statements
• Communicating effectively in business both verbally and in writing
• Human Resources Management
• Effective recruiting techniques and how to write job descriptions
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Management leadership
• Introduction to Business Law
• Project Management
