Scholarships at LaSalle College Vancouver

LaSalle College Vancouver provides scholarships for Canadian high school students, indigenous students, and mature learners enrolled in their innovative full-time programs. LaSalle’s scholarships recognize and support students who excel academically, athletically, or creatively by providing up to 50% of their tuition in any of the following areas of study:

Entrance Scholarship

LaSalle College Vancouver is offering scholarships worth up to $5,000 to eligible new students entered their diploma programs and up to $10,000 to new students entering their degree programs.

Eligibility*

The Entrance Scholarship is open to new students who are Canadian citizens, Canadian Permanent Residents, or US citizens. Students must be accepted into their program of study prior to applying for a scholarship and must provide a completed scholarship application form.

Talent Scholarship

LaSalle College Vancouver is offering scholarships worth up to 20% of the annual, full-time tuition for new students in their diploma and degree programs.

Eligibility*

The Talent Scholarship is open to any domestic or international student. Students must be accepted into their program of study prior to applying for a scholarship and must provide a completed scholarship application form and a portfolio for assessment.

Indigenous Scholarship

LaSalle College Vancouver is offering scholarships worth up to 50% of the annual, full-time fee for eligible new Indigenous students in their diploma and degree programs.

Eligibility*

The Indigenous Scholarship is open to any new, Canadian Indigenous student (First Nations, Inuit, Métis - Status and Non-Status); current, Canadian Indigenous LCV students who are transferring from a diploma to a degree program and have completed at least four quarters of the diploma program at LaSalle College Vancouver may also be considered. Students must have an active admissions application, having received either full or conditional acceptance.

Athletic Scholarship

LaSalle College Vancouver is offering scholarships worth up to 20% of the annual, full-time tuition for new students in their diploma and degree programs. The Athletic Scholarship is awarded on the basis of demonstrated athletic ability through amateur or professional sports at a provincial, national, or international level.

Eligibility*

The Athletic Scholarship is open to any new domestic student. Students must be accepted into their program of study prior to applying for a scholarship and must provide a completed scholarship application form and a portfolio for assessment.

Academic Excellence Award

New students who have achieved academic excellence in their high school coursework or in their last full academic year of post-secondary are eligible to receive scholarships recognizing that work.

Eligibility*

Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria below. For each subsequent term, the scholarship is eligible to be renewed based on continued academic performance as well as a minimum course load requirement of 12 credits.

Travel Bursary

LaSalle College Vancouver offers a Travel Bursary of up to $1000 to cover your travel expenses to LaSalle’s campus.

Eligibility*

  • Must reside outside of the Lower Mainland, more than 200km from campus
  • Expenses eligible: Lodging, Travel, & Gas
  • Maximum Amount: $1000
  • Submit bursary application with your program application within 60 days of visit
  • Start within 2 years in a Diploma or Degree program
  • Submit all eligible receipts with your application
