Through careful placement of needles on “acupuncture points” Acupuncture Practitioners endeavor to put the body systems back in balance.
Throughout this intensive program you will learn to master the skill of carefully placing the very thin needles used in acupuncture into the specific points to treat pain or for overall wellness.
You will learn Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture foundations such as acupuncture point locations oriental acupressure, the Meridian Theory, and Qi Gong/Tai Chi. In addition, courses cover the fundamentals of biomedicine, diagnostics, practice management, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
The Acupuncture Practitioner program meets the national competency standards to enable you to take the Pan-Canadian examinations which assess occupational competencies of entry-level TCM professionals that are required for safe, competent, and ethical practice. In Ontario, graduates are eligible to apply for registration under the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturists of Ontario.
This program includes 528 clinic hours internship.

Weekend clinics and classes are in person.
Weekday evening classes are a combination of Instructor led online and Asynchronous Home Study.
Hybrid learning merges the ease and comfort of attending classes remotely with the in-person practical application of theories and techniques taught in class.
Your instructor will discuss fundamental concepts remotely through real-time video chat over the Internet at specified times. Then when the practical application starts, expect to attend on-campus classes for face-to-face learning.
