TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are awarded to students in their last year of high school or CEGEP (in Quebec) who have demonstrated leadership in improving their community.
The 3D Modeling Animation Art & Design program at CDI College focuses on providing graduates with a solid foundation in the technical and artistic skills needed to be successful in the game, animation and CGI industries. Key to this is a genuine understanding of storytelling, game design, game play, modeling and animation techniques. Students will also acquire a solid foundation in traditional artistic techniques.
Colour theory, design fundamentals and life drawing will be taught and students will apply this knowledge to the production and animation of characters, lighting, texturing, layout and design. Students will be able to apply industry standard software tools and techniques to production processes. All graduates will build an industry standard portfolio throughout their studies at CDI College.
The 3D Modeling Animation Art & Design program prepares graduates for careers in a variety of CGI based industries such as computer animation studios, game development companies, post-production and special effects studios. They may also work for industrial design firms, software producers or any other company that requires the productions of 3D graphics and animation.
The 3D Modelling Animation Art and Design program is a vocational program, leading to an ACS (Attestation of College Studies) recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement Supérieur (MEES) (Permit 749747).
