Registered Massage Therapy program now offered at the Vancouver Career College, Kelowna campus

Many people use massage therapy to help them with medical conditions, injuries and overall health wellness, creating a large demand for massage therapists.  The Registered Massage Therapy program provides hands-on training, helping students develop the critical fundamental knowledge and the skill sets needed to practice as an RMT.

Along with massage theory and technique, students in the Registered Massage Therapy program will study anatomy, physiology, neurology and pathology. Students also learn about clinical assessment, treatment massage, therapeutic exercise, sports treatments, nutrition and hydrotherapy along with business practices, laws and regulations.

Those graduating from the program will meet the necessary competencies outlined in the College of Massage Therapists of BC Occupational Competency Profile, preparing them to write the CTMBC registration exams.
