Max the Mutt College of Animation, Art & Design has developed the Concept Art for Animation and Video Games diploma program to meet the high level of proficiency that is required by the video game and animation industries. Like the animation program, this program also offers a rigorous, in-depth curriculum based on suggestions from major video game producers and animation companies.
The Concept for Art program is a unique four-year diploma program that includes a mix of fine art, illustration, animation and cartooning courses, as well as concept courses and training using industry standard 2D and 3D software such as Photoshop and Maya, as well as others that are used to create concept art and illustration.
During year 4, students will have an opportunity to work on a real time assignment for a hypothetical client.
Student graduating from the Concept Art for Animation and Video Games program will develop their portfolio and demo reel that they will showcase to prospective employers during the annual Industry Evening.
