Canadian Payroll Association Welcomes Newly Certified Payroll Professionals

The Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) hosted its 10th annual Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and Certified Payroll Managers (CPM) events across the country to celebrate the success of newly certified payroll professionals

The Payroll Compliance Practitioner program constructs the foundation of successful payroll practitioners providing them with compliance knowledge required to process an organization's payroll cycle, understand accounting as it relates to payroll and how to effectively communicate payroll information to all their stakeholders.

The Certified Payroll Manager program builds upon the compliance knowledge acquired in the PCP program and enables payroll administrators to develop additional management skills and competencies.

These newly certified PCPs and CPMs join other Canadian certified payroll professionals that are relied upon by employers for on-time and accurate payment of the $865 billion paid in wages and benefits annually in this country. 

Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and Certified Payroll Managers (CPM) are the only recognized payroll certifications in Canada.
